Fanshawe College in London, Ontario has launched a Cannabis Applied Science program that will teach students the scientific knowledge and skills to meet the evolving demands of the cannabis industry. Beginning in the fall of 2020, the one-year graduate certificate program trains students in cannabis quality, safety, and stability analyses, enabling them to contribute to research and development of new cannabis products. “Our science-based program will provide students with hands-on experience working in cutting-edge labs learning about cannabis regulatory knowledge that will meet industry requirements,” says Fanshawe Associate Dean for the School of Applied Science and Technology Lindsay Engel.
