Vancouver Community College (VCC) is pleased to announce that its Practical Nursing (PN) program is the first of its kind to earn accreditation from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN).
Vancouver Community College has announced that its Practical Nursing program has received Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing accreditation. VCC says that its Practical Nursing program is the first in Canada to receive CASN accreditation. CASN reviewed VCC’s educational programs, facilities, equipment, and resources, and granted VCC the maximum seven-year accreditation. “CASN is a real feather in your cap,” said VCC department leader Janita Schappert. “It lets students know this is a program of excellence.”
