About Vidyatree Modern World College, India
The Vidyatree Modern World College was founded in 1979 under the inspiration of the great educator Shri Jiddu Krishnamurti. KQES Vidyatree is the flagship programme of our school and aims at:

• Higher Order Thinking Skills • Creating independent learners
The benefit of this programme is that it protects and nurtures the intelligence/brain of children and promotes above average growth of mind, heart and body.
From classes Nursery to Grade 8 Vidyatree is specially combined with International Baccalaureate (IB) methodology to deliver a truly world class curriculum for best possible student development. It creates a strong base during the critical period of a child’s growth, from 3 years to 13 years of age.
The IB program is being implemented in the best schools of the country and the world, and ours is the only school in Lucknow to do so. It has put the name of the school among the best schools of the country and put Lucknow on the international map. (See www.ibo.org)
For the teenagers we shall continue to provide ICSE & ISC curriculum combined with a special Vidyatree Quality Life Career Development Programme of international standard. We shall continue to deliver excellent ICSE & ISC results, as in the past. Please see our website for past results.
Now in the 35th year of the school’s founding, both Vidyatree and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programs have matured, and it is time for the next step in the school’s history. We are excited to announce that the management has resolved to add the words ‘Vidyatree’ and ‘World’ to the existing name of the school. Henceforth the name of the school shall be known as Vidyatree Modern World College (VMWC).
