Tapash Kumar Home has 43 years’ experience in Foreign Diplomatic Missions, State & Central Govt. establishments, premiere Institutes mainly under Ministry of Textiles and Universities in senior positions with independent charges and also experienced in setting-up centres of the Govt. and Educational Institutions.

The expertise fields of Mr. T. K. Home include Liaison, Protocol, Administration, Public-Relations, Education Management and International Relations through Diplomatic Missions. His contribution towards post liberation period of Bangladesh is noteworthy like coordinating training programme of security forces of Bangladesh by Indian Army, liaison with Ministries/Embassies, former PM of India Indira Gandhi, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman of Bangladesh, Field Marshall Manekshaw and many other personalities for promotion of Indo-Bangladesh relations during the period 1972-75.He had a privilege to travel to Dhaka by AN-12 Flight along with trained Armed Forces provided by Indian Army.

Development of North-Eastern States of India has been always a focus for Mr. T. K. Home. After the merger of Sikkim as a State in India he took charge of Sikkim Tourism Office at New Delhi and contributed a lot for the development of the prime Tourism sector in coordination with Central Govt. resulted trend in increase of flow of foreign and domestic tourists and revenue in a short span of time. The key officials, Governor of Sikkim expressed their great appreciation to Mr. Home. Besides the above he has been keeping close coordination with other North-Eastern States like Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya etc. for educational/skill development missions.

For the welfare and development of Craft Persons/Weavers Mr. T. K. Home had coordinated number of Design Projects of Development Commissioner of Handicrafts/Handlooms of the Govt. of India, Ministry of Textiles in association with State Govt.in various Districts of Madhya Pradesh and Assam.

Currently, Mr. Home is working with Kaziranga University, Assam as “Regl. Director(North)” at New Delhi. He is also attached with Skill training institutes as Sr. Consultants. Mr. Home is playing a vital role in cementing relationship between Kaziranga University and foreign based Universities through MOUs and maintaining PR with Embassies/High Commissions on common interest.
He visited Turkmenistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal as a Guest of Honour/CIP (Commercially Important Person) on educational mission.

Mr. Home is a graduate with Eco. Hons. from Delhi University and completed training programmes organised by UNCTAD-Geneva/IJO-Dhaka in association with Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. He is also a member of Press Club of India.

Mr. Home is recipient of several Awards like PSFD(Pakistan School of Fashion Design), Bharat Nirman, Franchise World, “Man of the Year-2000″by American Bio-Graphical Institute for overall accomplishments and contributions in Society and commendable certificates from Sr. bureaucrats of the Govt.of India, Ministry of Textiles. He is always been a guiding force for Students community and assisted them for abroad scholarships and admissions in foreign Universities.

Inspired by clarion call of Shri Narendra Modi, PM in respect of “Swatchh Bharat” and construction of Toilets for girls schools in rural areas Mr. Home coordinated the construction project for Toilets in 3 Schools at Jorhat Distt. upper Assam with NBCC.
