The Government of Saskatchewan has released its 2021-22 Budget, which includes an additional investment of $60M over two years to address pandemic-related challenges for postsecondary students and institutions. This investment will support the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw Campus’ mezzanine replacement project; fund IT projects at Dumont Technical Institute, regional colleges, and Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies; enable SK learners to attend high demand health science programs; and more. “We are pleased to provide a multi-year funding framework, which will provide the sector greater certainty during these times and create growth opportunities for the future,” said SK Advanced Education Minister Gene Makowsky.
