About Us
HCPS was founded in 1979 under the patronage of Sharda Education Foundation (Regd.). We feel proud to complete 37 years of our glorious services to the society. HCPS got affiliated to C.B.S.E. upto secondary level in 1987 and was upgraded upto 12th i.e. Senior Secondary level in 1992 with all three faculties – Science, Arts and Commerce. The junior Red Cross Award for the best school in Haryana by H.E. Governor of Haryana for two consecutive years i.e. 1996 and 1997 are the milestones in its vibrant journey to the cause of education in this rural area of southern Haryana.
It is a matter of great pride that our Founder Director Sir and Madam have to their credit the prestigious awards like PTA National Award, Best Citizens of India Award, Mother Teressa Excellence Award and Great Achievers of India Award. They are also the proud recipients of four awards – independent School Federation of India Award, Avantika Rashtriya Gaurav Samman, Avantika Bhartiya Sahitya Samman in the year 2005 and Indira Gandhi Sadbhawna Award 2006.
The Students of this esteemed institution have proved their excellence in all fields whether in sports, cultural activities, general knowledge, debates etc. Thousands of them are now well placed into various top most executive, administrative, scientific, medical and engineering field not only in India but also in abroad. The school is keeping its pace with the modern time by following world wide interactive method of teaching. HCPians are marking their presence in reputed Colleges and universities naming few are IITs, AIIMS, NITs, SRCC, DU and in many others.
To lay stress on participation by 100% students in co-curricular activities, vital for harmonious development of personality, all students are organised in four houses namely Agni, Dronacharya, Nalanda and Nilgiri. Each house is headed by a house captain and two vice captains. Points are awarded to students through out the year for extra-curricular activities. At the end of the year, the house getting the highest number of points is awarded a running trophy. Inter-House competitions are organised in sports, drama, debates, quiz, art and music. This system instils a sense of fair competition and a sense of belongingness among the students. Each student of the House has to wear the House dress on every Wednesday and Saturdays. English Club, Science Club, Eco Club & IT Club further adds focus to the students to develop the interest and choose their appropriate career later.
Counseling Department
The School has well equipped counseling department which as a continued efforts uplifts the overall personality of the students. And also provides them all valuable information & guidance for their future careers.
Co-Curricular Activities
Besides class competitions and Inter-House Competitions, our students participate regularly in various district, state and national level competitions like N.T.S.E., Mathematics, Olympaid, National Science congress and all India level G.K. tests bring laurels to the institution.
