PROFILE OF THE SCHOOL

 

Established in 1984, MIS is a leading boarding school in the country for girls. The school is situated in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India. Spread over an area of approximately 40 acres, the boarding school is stationed amidst the beautiful forest full of pine, deodar and other coniferous trees. Students come here from across the globe and enrich their lives in an environment that provides all-round development.

MIS is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, an All-India Board, University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and IB-IBDP

 

Vision of MIS is to impart an integral education that is global and all comprehensive, based on a strong foundation of Indian tradition, culture and values. Students emerge as balanced empowered personalities with the holistic education imparted in the rich learning environment of MIS.

MIS was founded under the direction and blessings of Gurudev Pandit Shri Ram Sharma Acharyaji, of “All World Gayatri Pariwar”. At MIS, the Yagna spirit is applied to all aspects of life to inculcate in every child the power of tolerance, acceptance and respect for oneself as well as others. Hawan is conducted every Saturday on the school campus. MIS upholds Indian cultural values, creating a blend of traditional “Indian Sanskars” and 21st century outlook and hence the motto- “Traditional Values, Modern Outlook.

Rooted in the belief of the all empowering “GAYATRI MANTRA”, the school inculcates in every child the power of tolerance, acceptance
