On January 25th, ICEC will host our AGM 2022 and Delegate Conclave on the New Education Policy (NEP) of India. This year's event will explore the NEP and its sweeping regulatory and structural changes and their impact on the international education arena, including opportunities for growth and collaboration. Topics will include India now permitting foreign universities to set up campuses, the introduction of dual degrees and higher education regulation, and other policy measures.
The event will feature sessions by education dignitaries and luminaries, including Chief Guest Hon. Rajan Sawhney, Minister of Trade, Immigration and Multiculturalism, Alberta; Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities; and Prof. (Dr) Gunjan M. Sanjeev, Vice President, Amity Education Group, and Director – International Affairs, Amity University. Our Keynote Speaker for the event is Dr. Rocky Dwyer, award winning writer, editor and educator who has spent more than 35 years working in the public sector at the national and international levels. Session 1: Changes to the Indian Education System
Presentation by Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities, Q&A and round-table discussion on new dual degrees, universal grading and accreditation, regulation of and universal access to higher education, and more.
Session 2: Opportunities for Collaboration and Internationalization
Presentation by Prof. (Dr) Gunjan M. Sanjeev, Vice President, Amity Education Group, and Director – International Affairs, Amity University. Q&A and round-table discussion of opportunities for collaboration and greater internationalization as India permits foreign universities to set up campuses in India and introduces other regulatory changes.
Session 3. Case Studies: Setting up Campuses Abroad
